Application Process

1.  Complete the Online Intake Form
   Fill in our BYS Intake Form with your details as required.
   
   

2.  Application Review
   The BYS artistic team will review your submission to understand your experience level and current orchestra needs.
   
   

3.  Audition or Assessment (if required)
   Some applicants may be invited for a short audition or assessment. This is conducted in a supportive setting and is used to determine appropriate placement within the orchestra.
   
   

4.  Offer of Placement
   Applicants will be informed of the outcome via text message. Depending on availability, you may be offered a place, placed on a waiting list, or invited to join a future intake.
   
   

5.  Confirmation & On-boarding
   Successful applicants will receive further information on rehearsal schedules, membership expectations, and upcoming programmes.
